Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HelpBubble ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free trial users and paid subscribers.

Service Description

HelpBubble provides an AI-powered customer support chatbot that:

  • Answers customer questions using AI (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, Grok)
  • Can be embedded on your website with a single line of code
  • Tracks usage analytics and conversation history
  • Offers customizable settings, FAQs, and branding

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

Subscription Plans & Billing

HelpBubble offers the following subscription plans:

  • Free Trial: 200 messages/month, £0
  • Starter: 5,000 messages/month, £19/month or £182/year
  • Pro: 20,000 messages/month, £49/month or £470/year
  • Scale: 75,000 messages/month, £99/month or £950/year

All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and exclude VAT where applicable.

Billing Terms

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed every 30 days from your signup date
  • Annual subscriptions are billed once per year and save 20%
  • Payment is processed securely via Lemon Squeezy
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Usage counters reset at the start of each billing cycle
  • If you exceed your message limit, the chatbot will stop working until you upgrade or wait for the next billing cycle

Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with HelpBubble. Here's our refund policy:

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Full refund available within 7 days of your first payment
  • No refunds for renewals (month 2 onwards)
  • You can cancel anytime to stop future charges

Annual Subscriptions

  • Full refund available within 48 hours of purchase
  • No refunds after 48 hours
  • Pro-rata refunds are not offered for annual plans

How to Request a Refund

Email support@helpbubble.ai with your account email and reason for refund. We'll process it within 3-5 business days.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use HelpBubble for:

  • Illegal activities or content that violates UK law
  • Spam, phishing, or fraudulent purposes
  • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive content
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempting to extract our AI models
  • Bypassing usage limits or rate limits through technical means
  • Reselling or white-labeling the Service without permission

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring your use complies with these Terms
  • Keeping your billing information up to date
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old to use HelpBubble.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in HelpBubble, including the software, design, and trademarks, are owned by us. You retain ownership of:

  • Your chatbot configuration and FAQs
  • Your conversation data
  • Content you provide to the Service

By using HelpBubble, you grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the Service.

AI Content Disclaimer

HelpBubble uses AI models (Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, Grok) to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and monitoring the chatbot's responses. We are not liable for any damages resulting from AI-generated content.

Service Availability & Uptime

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
  • Emergency repairs or security updates
  • Third-party service outages (Vercel, AI providers, etc.)
  • Force majeure events

We are not liable for downtime or data loss.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • HelpBubble is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (AI providers, Clerk, Lemon Squeezy)
  • We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limits may not apply to you.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period
  • You will be downgraded to the free plan (200 messages/month)
  • No partial refunds are issued for early cancellation

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of HelpBubble after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
